In Brief

Founded in 1968, Trinity Counseling Service has been serving residents and students of the greater Princeton community for almost fifty years. Originally an outgrowth of the pastoral concern of The Rev. E. Rugby Auer, TCS incorporated as an independent nonprofit agency in 1977. Since that time, many thousands of individuals and families of all faiths and backgrounds have benefited from our mental health services. TCS provides individual, marital, family, and child therapy. In addition, TCS works closely with area schools including Princeton, West Windsor – Plainsboro, Cranbury School, and the Princeton Nursery School to provide mental health and wellness services to our community’s under served children.

Trinity Counseling Service is licensed by the State of New Jersey.   Unlike most other mental health agencies, TCS does not receive any State or Federal funding.   Our highly experienced, licensed clinicians work with each client to develop personalized therapeutic plans that will help the client reach their individual goals.

TCS provides critical services to the Princeton community. No one who comes to TCS is ever turned away because of an inability to meet the expense of counseling. To meet the gap between the actual cost of therapeutic service and a client’s ability to pay, TCS relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, trusts and foundations who partner with us to realize our mission of excellent care in a compassionate environment.

Trinity Counseling Service exists to serve our community’s mental health needs. Call us at  609.924.0060 if you would like to discuss with us whether Trinity Counseling Service could help you achieve your mental health goals.
